The Northwest Harris County Alumnae Panhellenic (NWHCAP) is a community based organization, affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), whose members are representatives of one of the 26 sororities belonging to the National Panhellenic Conference. As an Alumnae Panhellenic, our goals are:
- To inform fraternity women of current trends in the Greek world,
- To promote the fraternity system by educating college-bound women and their parents about the Greek system,
- To present information about local college bound women to college sorority chapters,
- To improve the Panhellenic image and to foster interfraternity relationships, and
- To provide scholarships for deserving collegiate sorority women in the Aldine, Cypress-Fairbanks, Klein, Spring and Tomball school districts.
Annual events include a Scholarship Luncheon,
and a Parent/Daughter nformation Workshop for young women seeking information about joining a sorority
which includes an opportunity to meet area collegiate sorority members who can share their experiences on their campuses. For 2009 these are:
